128 Tick CSGO Server is here!
So if you haven’t learned what a tick rate is, its actually quite important to netcode and network architecture. You see what players on CSGO play on right now is rated as a 64 tick server, which means in correlation the server only responds with 64 snapshots of whats happening on your client per second. So Higher the tickrate=Higher response time from the server.
Thats what we all want as end users and players right? more accurately whats happening real time instead of hearing a gunshot on your screen but nobody else hearing it in your lobby before you die. Its quite frustrating. It will be nice to have a playing field for us to learn CSGO moving forward in a much accurate environment
